The Sanken SLA5060 is a power MOSFET array designed specifically for 3-phase DC motor drive applications. It integrates six power MOSFET elements into a single compact package, consisting of three N-channel MOSFETs and three P-channel MOSFETs arranged for 3-phase bridge operation.
With a drain-source voltage rating of 60V, continuous drain current capability of up to ±6A, and low on-resistance, the SLA5060 provides a compact power switching solution for motor-control circuits, industrial equipment, electronic appliances, and other 3-phase DC motor applications.
The SLA5060 contains six MOSFET elements in one package: three N-channel and three P-channel devices. This integrated configuration reduces the number of individual power semiconductor components required when designing or repairing a compatible 3-phase motor drive circuit.
Sanken specifies the SLA5060 for 3-phase DC motor driver applications. The integrated N-channel and P-channel MOSFET arrangement makes it suitable for switching the three phases of compatible brushless DC motor systems.
The N-channel MOSFETs have a maximum drain-source voltage rating of +60V, while the P-channel devices are rated at -60V. This makes the module suitable for compatible low-voltage motor-drive and power-control circuits operating within the manufacturer's electrical limits.
The SLA5060 is rated for continuous drain current of 6A for the N-channel devices and -6A for the P-channel devices. Pulse drain-current ratings reach ±10A under the pulse conditions specified by Sanken.
The device features a maximum drain-source on-resistance of 0.22Ω under the specified test conditions. Low on-resistance helps reduce conduction losses and heat generation during power switching.
The SLA5060 uses Sanken's 12-pin SIP package with an integrated heatsink tab. The through-hole package is designed for PCB installation while allowing effective thermal management in motor-control and power-switching applications.
The device provides an isolation withstand voltage of 1000Vrms between the heatsink fin and lead pins, according to the manufacturer's absolute maximum ratings.
