The Intel SSD DC S3510 240GB is an enterprise-class solid state drive designed for data center, server, virtualization, database, cloud, hosting and read-intensive storage applications. Featuring a standard 2.5-inch form factor, SATA 6Gb/s interface and Intel 16nm MLC NAND Flash, the DC S3510 provides reliable solid-state storage for compatible enterprise servers and storage systems.
The drive provides 240GB of solid-state storage capacity, making it suitable for server operating systems, boot volumes, applications, databases, virtual machines and other enterprise workloads requiring fast and responsive storage.
The DC S3510 series uses Intel 16nm Multi-Level Cell (MLC) NAND Flash technology. The drive was developed specifically for data-center applications and provides enterprise-oriented endurance, reliability and data-protection features.
The S3510 uses a SATA Revision 3.0 interface supporting transfer rates up to 6Gb/s. It is also compatible with SATA 3Gb/s and 1.5Gb/s interface rates when connected to compatible host controllers.
The Intel SSD DC S3510 series provides sustained sequential read performance of up to 500MB/s and sequential write performance of up to 460MB/s depending on capacity. Random 4KB performance for the series reaches up to 68,000 read IOPS and 20,000 write IOPS.

The 240GB Intel DC S3510 is rated for approximately 140 terabytes written (TBW). Intel specifies the S3510 family for approximately 0.3 drive writes per day over a five-year period under its defined endurance workload.
The DC S3510 includes enhanced power-loss data protection designed to help protect data during unexpected power interruptions. This is an important feature for enterprise servers and storage systems where sudden loss of power could otherwise increase the risk of data corruption.
The drive incorporates end-to-end data protection features intended to maintain data integrity as information moves through the SSD's internal data path.
