The Huawei OM5052 (P/N: 34060841) is a GPON OLT Class C++ optical transceiver module designed for compatible Huawei GPON Optical Line Terminal equipment. Featuring a high-power Class C++ optical interface, single-fiber bidirectional transmission, and an SFP form factor, it is designed for FTTH, FTTB, ISP, and carrier-grade Passive Optical Network deployments.
The OM5052 is a Class C++ GPON OLT optical module offering higher optical power and receiver sensitivity than lower optical-budget GPON classes. It provides a strong optical budget for PON networks with high splitter ratios and demanding optical distribution network (ODN) conditions.
The module uses single-fiber bidirectional transmission. The OLT downstream signal is transmitted at 1490nm, while upstream GPON signals from ONTs/ONUs are received at 1310nm.
The module supports standard GPON asymmetric transmission with approximately 2.488Gbps downstream transmission and 1.244Gbps upstream reception, making it suitable for GPON access networks based on ITU-T G.984 architecture.
